I have had my sager laptop for over 1 year now. I seem to be having a little heat issue. I have a zalman 2000 that I use with my laptop. After an hour or two oif gaming, my laptop cpu temperature ranges in from 28-32 C. But my GPU shoots to 68-71C. I feel that this is too hot. When I put the laptop in my lap and play games, the GPU stays about 44-48 C which is decent. I wonder if I'm blocking the vents for the GPU when I put it on my laptop cooler

I have been looking for a thread where all the vents in the sager NP5797 are labeled. If someone could just let me know what component corrosponds with each vent, i'd greatly appreciate it. Or if you can give me any suggestions, that be great too.

71C while gaming is totally normal. while i'm gaming i can reach 90C very easy because i really have heat issues. i want to ask you if you clean the vents of your laptop at least once a month. if not you should remove the back cover, get a can of compress air and remove the dust that have been located on the heatsinks fins.

Your temps are perfectly fine. When they reach 90c, you should be concernced, not when they bearly hit 70c.
