Hi,
I recently bought a 7280-S1 with 980x and dual SLI 485M. I have 2 PSU's that came with it.
Could anyone help me with oc'ing this beauty? (safely...don't want it frying lol).
Thx.

If you ordered it with an Intel Core i7 980X Extreme Edition, it should have come with the Intel Xtreme Tweaking Utility (Intel XTU) on a disc. Check the box(es) for it.
As for overclocking the CPU, just ramp up the CPU multiplier to 30x for 4.0GHz (133 bCLK x30 = 3999.99 MHz), and increase the voltage accordingly. I mean I don't have the X7200, but yeah it's pretty much just like that. Don't go straight to 4.0 GHz though. I don't know if that's safe in the X7200. Enjoy! -

inspector and afterburner have the voltage toggles locked. if you wanna mess with voltage you'll have to go into the BIOS. And i have no idea about that so i stay away... i don't have another 4K to drop incase I kill this one. LOL
have fun!
help overclock my 7280-S1
