    just curious, how do you take the hotkey icon out of the system tray on start up? i also can't find it on the startup tab of msconfig.

    Why would you want to do that???

    Just minimize the systray

    its just 1 more thing in the tray that i dont need..
    it does'nt seem like it needs to be there either

    I believe it's called LchGKey in msconfig.

    is it only used for setting your hotkeys up? or does it play any other roles that i should know about?

    The two preprogrammed hotkeys (IE and OE) work with it disabled, but not the one application you can set. Naturally you have to have it open to set the third key. I didn't notice any other effect but I didn't play with it much. I don't know if this application is related to the game hotkeys or not because I was unable to set them.

    control panel >>> administrative tools >>> system configuration >>>> startup tab >>> find it in the list and disable it.

    you can also use a program like ccleaner (free) or i recc jv16powertools. i deleted mine from startup with jv16 and it still works fine when i use it.

    i dont see it in the startup tab?


    macs are cool and all but you cant get as powerful stuff in the laptop like a core 2 extreme x9000 and 8800m gtx

    mine was there.. try using ccleaner its free google it.. go to its startup options there you can delete or disable it

    This program is the biggest "frame rate killer" I've ever seen. On my machine, having it running reduces FPS in Crysis by up to 20%! Your mileage may vary of course.
