This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hotkey utility/ backlight keyboard glitchy for anyone else???

    p150sm/ np8265 here... Anyone else run into issues with the driver messing up (seems like windows updates every now and then seem to glitch it) but usually my left set of keys will stop lighting up. the fix is that i have to restart numerous times and on rare occasion re-install the actual hotkey driver.

    on a side note, does everyone elses hotkey utility look like this? why can't they make it all fit without having to scroll... the attached screen shows what i can see on my screen at any given time. so if i want to change the color i have to scroll down. and side to side etc. because apparently the program is coded for like a 4k monitor...
