    how good is sager's warranty on its laptops?

    How good is sager for its warranty on laptops?

    Define "good". You have to ship your laptop in to them, and then there's typically about a 2 week turnaround before you get your laptop back. They are pretty forgiving with warranty though. You can repaste and change components at your heart's content, only the new components aren't covered obviously. Just no hard modifications can be done to the machine (i.e. soldering, cutting, welding, etc).

    To add to what HTWingNut mentioned, if you're within the states, 3day UPS shipping is paid for to and back so it helps with transit time.

    This is not just only "good", this is awesome. Most OEM won't allow any form of modification at all.

    thats why i got sager, brands like asus dont allow you to remove things like heatsink without voiding warranty.

    having a Sager/Clevo just ensures that you can fix everything yourself once you feel like it

    plus a lot of other manufacturers solder their CPU and GPU onto the board
