Hi, I have an NP8278 and I want to know what monitor type I have. Is it regular or 75% gamut or something else. Is there a way to do it without physically disassembly the computer.

There is a utility called hwinfo and you can Google it and after you install it it will give you the model number which you can Google and find out all the details about your monitor.

HWiNFO doesn't give the exact model. AIDA64 is the best:

HWinfo does give that info although everything is not dressed up as well as AID64... And HWinfo64 is also free :D

on my Alienware 18 before, HWiNFO only gave the basic model of the screen which is SDC408 or something like that. AIDA64 on the other hand gave me the exact model.
