- ~ 200GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache) 95 dollars
- ~ 320GB 5400RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 8MB Cache) 85 dollars
exactly why is the 200g 1 more 0.o
-
-
the speed.
but now the 320GB 5400rpm are so high density, they are comparable in speed with the 7200rpm drives.
Just get the 320GB and you should be good. -
well since im going for the fastest lappie possible is the 200 1 faster o.0
-
I believe the 320GB is about equal with the 200GB in speed because of data density, as Gophn said.
-
ok..........
-
Yes. the 200gb, 7,200RPM with a larger cache will be faster. Negligibly, but faster. Would you freakin BUY this thing already!?
-
yup.
the 320GB's are the way to go now for speed, cooler temps, and storage.... until there are higher capacity 7200rpm drivers. -
You know what.
You should just contact the vendor that you are going to buy this from, they will walk you through every question that you have. -
but u guys are comp wizzez so i need advice from you.
-
Not true.
Justin (Justin@XoticPC) from XoticPC and Donald (paladin44) from Powernotebooks have been in the game a while, they know their stuff.
Just contact them, or PM them and you will find out why they have our respect. -
Don`t PM (Gophn, think of poor Justin and Donald if he starts PMing them
) , email them,or visit the LiveChat feature, that XoticPc has on the front page.
-
(I need a way to bump up my post count, I think i found the pathway)
-
-
nah, Lithus is who you should follow.
-
-
LOL. Okay, but I will lay low to slow your post counts...
-
Thing is that there are so many 320 GB 5k drives now that they`re effectively dirt cheap.
I`ll be getting one soon too. -
). Agreed, though, that folks who aren't willing to do a lick of their own research should not be encouraged to pm people who have better things to do with their time.
