great, note that: it's not really called m571ru, but the 1 is handy if you compare it to the 0, which then means that the 571 is the revised version of the 570.

Though, clevo is known for having the last number of the modelname point out which color a notebook has, and not the revision type. (m570ru black, m575ru white.)

i still think though, the way i named it to point out some clear-view on the revisions, while afterwards just manually posting the color, is the most efficient to keep clarity, like you did. :D applause ;)

just wanted to point that out for others to read and give further explains to stop people from thinking:
"omg i have an old version, there is a new model!" ---> no new model, just minor changes.

Only the new Clevo notebooks (D900C and M570RU) has the top-secret Nvidia MXM Type IV slots.

No other ODM got the rights to use it.

nope. Santa Rosa notebooks only use up to DDR2/667. So if you do put in a DDR2/800 stick, it will downclock to 667.

is theres a really big difference between 667 and 800 ram? is it worth get a D900C just for the ram upgrade? because ill probably never upgrade to a 2nd hard disk or a 2nd video card...

what is the real advantage of the D900C over the M570RU...

The D900C is using desktop Intel 965 chipset that can support desktop socket 775 CPUs (up to Quad-core).

The M570RU is using a mobile Intel 965 chipset that can only support Socket P mobile Intel CPUs (up to T7800 or mobile extreme CPUs)

nice score... but it could be better... you probably just have resource hogs in the background.
    - System Restore
    - Drive Indexing
    - Anti-virus/firewall suites
    - Malware scanners
    - the theme is something thats not Classic Mode

The MXM-IV is so new, that Nvidia has yet to publicized it.

If the best cards is available on notebooks, it will easily be available for such a new and powerful format.
