Currently i have a nvidia go 7950 gtx 512 mb. I would like to upgrade it with either another card of the same type to put in sli mode. If not possible to find what other card can i put in it?

Also i would like to add another hd. Any advice would be great!

you can upgrade the videocards to 8700M SLI ..... but it wont give you any gain in performance over the 7950GTX in SLI.

.... or you can stick a single 8800M or 9800M in there (for those with the first motherboard revision).

if you motherboard revision is newer, you can upgrade it all the way to 9800M GTX in SLI.

as for HDDs, you can stick 500GB 2.5" SATA drives in there with no issues. :)

it should be able to use a single 8800M or 9800M ..... NOT dual though (since that will require a motherboard upgrade)

But use caution when installing it.

I would recommend getting a newer motherboard since you will then get full support for the 45nm quad-core CPUs and the SLI 9800M GTX support.... but a new motherboard is a bit costly since you will have to spend ~$400.

I recommend to just get a 2nd Nvidia 7950GTX (for pretty cheap since many people are selling theirs) and put it into SLI, then you will still have a super fast gaming notebook that has 10,000+ score in 3DMark06.

you can contact (email or phone) almost any Clevo vendor and they can give you the pricing to any part.

    start with
    - www.rjtech.com
    - www.sagernotebook.com (if your barebones are through them)

and eBay is fine, just make sure the card is compatible with your system.
