I don't have much choice, so I really don't care about the warranty, I understand that it is important to you. But for me I'm already getting my notebook for a great price, I can't ask for much more, if anything do "happen" I'll get it fixed locally. I mean a notebook is a notebook right? It's not like it's something out of this world you know? I've had many computers/notebooks but I never had one that needed major repairs, it's usually small things that I could fix it myself. But this is the first time I'm getting a Sager/Clevo, I just started reading about Sager a few days ago and so far I'm having good feelings about it. So if anything happens, I'm okay paying the extra to get it fixed, because it's already a great bargain for me. just my 2 cents tho, I'm really a newb around here and with sager...

I have had a hp, acer and thinkpad laptop. The first two fried themselves to death due to poor heat sink design. The hp had me going to the warranty center atleast 6 times for major repairs (two motherboard replacements, three screen replacements and a broken hinge. Yes, Im serious. the warranty got over last august. And then it fried again. So i got rid of it.)
Though i understand sager has better quality, still its a risk not worth taking with my money, i think.

The 5xx series will be at most an incremental upgrade... the 570M will probably be faster than the 480M but slower than the 6970M and 485M for sure. A 6990M is supposedly around the corner for Clevos/Sagers too
