    ...in the P151HM1.

How does the i5 2410 compare to the i7 2630 when it comes to performance and overclocking? For $80, it might be worth taking the i7... but I'd settle if the i5 could overclock fairly well. Experience or recommendations?

The biggest difference between the two is the i5 is a dual core and the i7 is a quad core. So multi tasking and programs that take advantage of a quad will work much better on the i7. Both CPU's are locked so you cant overclock either one.

Thanks for the quick reply. It sounds like it might be worth the cost to upgrade.

Doesn't Crysis 2 take advantage of multicore processors? I think it does. That might be reason enough. ;-)

Cry Engine 3 will take advantage of the quad core. To get the best gaming invest in a good graphics card as that will make much more difference then the CPU.
For $80 i'd go quad core all day

I totally agree. It is well worth the upgrade cost in most cases! :)

For 80$ it's most definitely worth it.

Yeah, I agree. Get the quad core, that's the way applications are headed.
