    i7 2760QM on 2 core?

    I have every driver up to date. I use touslesdrivers.com which btw is awsome.

    I went from 17600 score at 3Dmark2006 to 14500.

    It dont feel any change when i play battlefield 3

    the task manager do show 4 different core.

    any idea? can you burn cores ?

    The only and will always be is via msconfig. I tried once but I got higher temps (720qm). Oli, do you notice temps drop ? I think for the best. Turn off hyperthread, let windows recognize there are 4 cores only, then set it to 2.

    You guys are right! I am missing 2 cores. I did have 4 though at one time. don't know what happened.

    i'll try to see what's going on with my windows.

    It is funny to see that it doesn't really matter to have 4 cores in battlefiled 3 or 2 cores, I haven't seen any difference.
