    Hi people,

I received my NP8150-s1 ~1 week ago and my spec is in the title.

I ran a couple of benchmarks and my scores seems incorrect. I've seen people getting 18k-19k without OCing and their rigs were similar.

    3dmark06 : 17600-17800

I have all the latest drivers and the latest bios version(tried BIOS V 1.01.06 &
EC/KBC V 1.00.04 and got the same score). Nothing is OCed.

So if anyone with the same rig could post their scores, I would really appreciate it!

'06 is a poor indicator, so run Vantage or '11, then post the GPU score.

It´s all right with your score!
Get 177xx with 2630QM/ 6970m in a P170HM, too. It´s the CPU score that has much influence in the final score, people with 2920XM get really scores over 20k in 3D 06.

In vantage, I get GPU-score 119xx, 3DMark11 overall score 3133 score. All stock clocks.

Are you sure nothing's running in the background during tests?.. Torrents, Skype, Widgets, HW monitor, Network monitor, Antivirus?

If no, than it's definitely CPU.

    Your CPU ain´t bad...
It´s a little bit weaker than 2720QM, 2820QM and 2920XM. But better than any other mobile CPU!
Just because of that, you won´t reach the top of the Benches, but the 2630QM will serve you well in games. Basically, if a 2920XM and 6970m can play a game in a specific resolution, you can, too, minus a couple of FPS, but not THAT much!
