    Hi guys,

I have basically had the stock driver for the graphics card except for one or two updates. Well I was about to play hitman absolution and it kept crashing on startup, so i decided to update the driver and well can't seem to do it properly. tried the old way of uninstalling the driver, then reinstalling the stock driver and then installing the new driver. Is there any new way to do this? i haven't be roaming on the forums for awhile....

    thanks

13.8 mobility beta, that one, its from july.
Anyway yesterday i tried another route, downloaded

AMD Mobility Radeon™ Notebook Drivers Notification tool
    from
    AMD

i ran it, it downloaded 13.12 mobility driver, and installed it directly (no uninstalls). This time it all went smooth, everything is installed (CP shows driver date to be from 6th dec 2013), no BSODs, no problems whatsoever.
I ran 3dmark11 adn got 200 marks improvement (6819 score): SEE

I think i was downloading and installing the desktop drivers, even tho i was clicking and selecting notebook ones, but in the selection i took HD7000 series and thats probably the desktop ones. AMD made it harder to find the right drivers since its web update this year.

I tested Tomb raider (the latest) and it flies in ultimate settings, all maxed, so i cannot complaint.

I will pot again if anything new arises or if I see more improvements.
