    Yes, the GTX 280M is the most powerful mobile GPU to date. According to notebookcheck, it beats the 4870 ~1500 points in 3DMark06.

    for the time being, the Nvidia GTX 280M is the top card... by a small margin.
    ... speaking stock settings of course.

    Nvidia and ATI will be "fighting for pennies"... in a sense... to trump each other.

    The 280m wins here but im sure amd has more gpu's which are more powerful on the way.
