im used to my inspiron 6000 and the very hand and very good i8kfangui and notebook hardware control , well now im forced to use rmclock as im using vista and cant get nhc to run under vista

ive decided to go balls out on a new laptop and might aswell future proof it with a decent graphics card this time instead of start with a crap one before and still having a crap one now , im not much of a gamer atall but if i feel i want to play a game then id like to know i could, plus the 7950gtx has some media enhancements too

aslong as i can find something to control the voltage and speed of the cpu and something to control the fans il be quite happy

and something to control the hard drives (i plan on a raid setup) although i doubt they will spin down atall as xp and vista always like to be doing something to wake up the drives

    in a word, YES!!

in all the high-end Clevo notebooks, there is a hidden command to Max out all the fans by pressing Fn+F2. It is very useful to make sure that you are not going to have heat problems while gaming.

For monitoring the GPU temps and fans, as well as for CPU and HDDs, read this:

you were moved here because Sager (as well as Alienware) sells the most Clevo notebooks. But Sager sells the most 5760's around.

The FN+F2 command toggles all fans to either be on Auto or go on max speed.

I leave my fans on max whenever its on, to ensure that they wont be a heat problem, its does not really bother me, especially when i am gaming.

Yes, you can buy this notebook locally in the UK.

    Check out:
    http://www.rockdirect.com/

They call the Clevo M570U... Xtreme CTX Pro.

    Hope this helps,
