is it true that 560m will not be available for 15in laptops?

Hi

I was looking around the net and some sites claimed that the 560m will only be available on 17 inch notebooks. Is this true because I thought it was going to be available on the 8130 :S

Not true. Xotic has said all new 8130/8150s will start with 560M standard.

 

The GTX 560M has already been supported by the last 8130/8150 bios update and was specifically stated in the update from Clevo as well as listed in Clevo's driver downloads for the P150HM/P151HM1 (8130/8150)

As Electric Shock stated it's going to be the new standard GPU replacing the GTX 460M in these machines.

 

Was 560m one of the cards on NDA, or were those the other high end ones?

 

gtx560m out now, seems only rise core speed without memory......

I'm more interested in how much it overclocks. The GTX 460Ms seem to all be able to do 800MHz core, 700MHz (1400 DDR) mem. I wonder if the 560M has the same degree of headroom or if it's near max.

I'm not too concerned about the release date personally, since well.. I already have a machine with the GTX 460M and don't feel too bad about that given the quality and performance it gives.

For those who are waiting/expecting on the 560M I already have the necessary entries for custom inf's.

Have had them for a while actually but withheld them from the last inf since they weren't needed yet.

560M should be on sager site on 06/01/11 so I would expect the resellers have it at the same time listed.

The NDA list expires at end of this month also.

They may have a few other minor changes/updates to lappys so check out the site around Wed.
