would it be worth since i'll be using my 2090 for the next 4 years, and planning on watching tv(via tv turner), while typing those long essays in college

I have the WSXGA+ and i'm loving it. I switched the DPI to make the font bigger and its even better. It like it went from a 1680x1050 to the lower resolution.

YES it, should...I am typing on my 2090 WSXGA+ and I love it. There's a lot of room for all your windows, vista gadgets and everthing...screen quality is very good. For gaming it should be a little slower though, but you can always turn resolution lower...from my experience you won't notice almost any blurr doing that.
BUT, afaik wsxga comes only in Matte by now, that is a thing of personal choice...I love my matte screen, no glare and excellent viewing angles.

I chose WSXGA not only for the higher res but for the matte screen--no annoying reflections. Ive also been hearing good things about this particular screen

I dock mine to a 19" monitor, so I would say get the low resolution... For me.... might not help you much

Does Sager have a custom dock for their notebooks or are using a universal one?
