i know its probably not but i was looking at the NP8660 (M860TU) and i noticed there was no option for quad core
I was wondering if I could add a new one in later on... maybe when they get smaller or less power consuming or cooler...
thanks

No mobile quad core on NP8660 unless it consumes less than 44W.
-
but is it upgradeable or not... I mean because maybe now its not avaible with -44W but later on maybe?
-
yes it is upgradeable.

Remember though if you upgrade the CPU yourself you void the warranty.

you only void the warranty if you break anything... thats how it usually is.

Not necessarily. First you have to look to the terms of the warranty itself. Second, while you won't be covered on the new CPU itself, or for any damage you cause changing it out, or any damage caused because the CPU is incompatible, you'll generally retain coverage on everything else as usual. Bottom line though, read the terms of your warranty.
is the processor upgradeable?
