just curious here wanting to see if anyone has any experiences there. i may go this way not sure yet. prob not but im wanting to find out ahead of time. thanks in advance, nothing at all to do with justin btw..so far they seem to be fine but i am just curious thanks

Any idea what your course of action is going to be now? Turn it in and get a 9261? Go for the WSXGA+ screen? Get a refund and look elsewhere? -
no im going to get another one i hope xotic will take care of it. that black spot has gotten worse its become much darker about the size of a thumb print now. and i can not for anything get the fingerprint scanner working no matter what i do it says bad scan... they told me they would be able to have it exchanged with a new system so im holding them to that for now.. we'll see tomm when i talk with justin. i will not accept a repair at this time since its only 4 days old. at first they would have just swapped the screen and i said no way. justin said they can do an advance exchange for me but i have to basically buy another one till they get this one back and thats why i am afraid about the refund i can not afford to have 2 systems on cards anf worry about one being refunded. i LOVE THE system. just that dark spot bothers me ALOT.. it started out as a tiny spot and seems to have got darker and def got larger. so we'll see. other than that and the fingerprint scanner i love this thing. i have removed all my stuff from it this morning and boxed it up to send back asap. im so crossing my fingers justin will take care of this for me. i have to order 7-8 more systems (of lower end than this for my offices) by the end of the year or jan. and would love to do business with xotic again. so if they take care of this for me i will def be doing so.

I wish you good luck on this Z. I agree with you. Any distributor and pack up a Clevo/Sager and mail it out. The good ones take care of their customers when something doesn't go right. My 9261 should ship from Xotic this week. I'm very interested to see how your experience goes.
Similarly, my company is interested in upgrading existing laptops. They're waiting to see how my 9261 experience goes before committing to buy additional models. -

ill say it again.. they are there to help you out and were awesome to deal with.. they are doing exactly what i wanted them to do for me.. and ill be getting a call later to finalize everything. im doing a system exchange and adding a few things as well this time not much but still adding some extras..
justin was extremely polite and willing to do what i asked of them without any questions. i simply cant wait till i get the new system and ill post when it arrives..
but yes kozi and others they were willing to take care of everything for me..

So what will they end up exchanging for? Hopefully you can get a better WUXGA this time around. I know they are rare. The only good ones I have ever seen are the ones on the Sony A series notebooks. Although they are dual lamp power suckers. I guess you will be getting the AGN wifi card now that they are in stock too, huh?

yes a new wuxga, adding the wi fi n, and the robson, and a car adapter this time around. well i saw another 9570 on sunday and that wuxga was WAY brighter then my 9571. i told justin of this and im sure this one will be better. no one else here seems to be dissapointed in their wuxga so im sure ill be okay with it.

hey, good luck with everything, zfactor. definitely, between this and ur other post, justin and xotic are amazing. through here PMing with Justin and thru their email, reponses are quick, short but to the point, and very accomodating. it's been a pleasure working with them for me and u seem to feel the same.
curious, how much is it going to end up being what with the upgrades? -
well i ordered a bare bones + upgrades so the cpu, hdd, ram, were all already here so to give an accurate price may be a bit off..
but yeah i spoke with justin today and got the rms its leaving asap and they are doing AN ADVANCE SHIPMENT!! WHICH ROCKS.. i cant wait.. this should be everything i am hoping for and honestly i think that mark on the screen imo is from the screen being squeezed to much or something thats what it looks like when you push you finger down and it make a dark spot ..
so yeah its been awesome i cant say that enough please disregard anything i had negative to say. I WILL BE ORDERING ALL FUTURE systems for our business' which will be soon, so justin will be getting more business from me.. thanks again justin nolte and xotic pc.. you guys rock
