Hello, Few days ago I got my new M570a and after I started to work on it I see that my keyboard doesnt work, in BIOS and in Windows too (I plugged USB keyboard). I don't know what to do with this - before order I pleased about English keyboard (because I'm form Poland and notebook is from Germany) - maybe this is a problem? Or something with BIOS, maybe settings? Are there any shortcuts or buttons to block keyboard like Office Lock? Please let me know what I can do in this case it's realy important fo me.

What I would do is go into the Device Manager (Right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager) and see if you have any keyboards installed. Right-click it if it is in there, and click uninstall. Reboot, and it should install on reboot.
If that does not work, then I'd suggest taking out the keyboard and reconnecting it. Perhaps there is some sort of problem there.

I did what you say in Device Manager but it doesnt work unfortunately. Is the keyboard controlled by bios chip?
My BIOS:
Phoenix NoteBIOS 4.0 Rel. 6.1
BIOS Revision 1.06
KBC/EC Firmware Revision 1.00.05
Do I have to find some newer BIOS? Thx for answer -

I'd ask your dealer for a BIOS update, see if they have one. If that doesn't fix the problem, then you'll probably have to send it in.
