    is there anyway to hook my desktop up to my laptop screen? so the desktop will show over my laptop screen?

    if you want to use your notebook's display... you can only use the video inputs that comes along with the system.

    Either through:
    - TV Tuner (most common - less quality... usually 480i w/ S-Video)
    - External Capture Card (can capture up to 1280x720p usually... with component or even VGA)

    It may sound like not what you want, but, remote desktop would be the best option... If not to play games for sure.

    Otherwise the TV tuner seems the best option, but won't give good quality.
