    lcd cable for clevo p150hm?

    Hi

    My cable connecting the videocard and the lcd screen (WUXGA (1920x1080) Full HD)on my clevo p150hm is dead (it has a loose connection). Do you guys know where I can buy a new one? I have asked the shop, where I bought the computer, but they do not want to sell me the spare part..

    depends what part of the world you are from.
    also has your warranty expired?
    a clevo being sold in a shop,thats a new one. is this a second hand lappy and why wont they sell you the part.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am from denmark, so I would prefer it the web-shop is base inside the EU to avoid Custom-charges etc..

    I Bought the clevo at a web-shop in Denmark (MM-vision.dk)..

    I dont think that the Warranty is expired, but i think that I have broken the warranty because i have opened the laptop to clean the fans and might have cut the cable when I reassembled it..

    I would prefer to replace the cable myself, since I believe that it would take much longer for the shop to fix it...

    Have a look at the Europe resellers thread and pm one of them. There are plenty around who have or would be willing to get a cable.

    opening and cleaning the lappy out wont void your warranty as its a clevo but if the cable was broken by yourself you might not get it replaced for free but your warranty for labour should still be covered.
    i would ring the shop just to find out.

    We can sell you a cable for it, but it won't be cheap from a shipping perspective, but the part itself we can get. Just incase you can't get help on your side of the pond.
