if I put 800mhz RAMs in my 5793 for setFSB:
    1) would there be any difference? performance-wise?
    2) do you think I can OC both CPU and GPU by doing that? (i guess probably not)

    1) You can't set it above 667 Nirvana. As far as I know the chipset is only designed to run 667 and not overclocked. IF you can and have it stable yes it will make a difference, Sometimes noticable but sometimes not. Since 667 DDr2 is pretty slow it's safe to say that 800 would be nice. Should try it out, I didn't even know you could manually set the chipset to 800 and run stable.
    2) You can OC the CPU better doing that, yes. But the problem is that the FSB is linked with the memory on intel chipsets and you'd need to use what they call a divider. Your overclock of your CPU and memory are related when using an intel chipset since you cannot run them seperately and thus you must use the multiples provided in bios (if they're even there). It's safe to say the overclock you have now is quite nice, and infact since you HAVE To overclock your chip now by using the FSB; this may affect your ability to run the ram at 800 since if you set it manually in whatever tool you're using chances are it will use the nearest available value for the divider. For my Friend's p965 board this happened to be 832 which is pushing it further.

In short, you risk a great CPU Overclock to maybe a mediocre one to run your memory at 800 since these chipsets aren't designed to run that fast. I'm thinking probably around 2.5-2.6ghz with 800 memory speed (if you can, and I don't know if the ddr2 667 sticks are strong enough to run this speed, if they are you may need to further increase the latencies)
    Hope this helps.
