I installed my RAID 0 the other night and now the boot up time for my laptop is crazy long.

I get the Sager splash screen then it goes to the screen about the RAID and seems to hang for maybe a minute before it lists the drives and then switches to the Matrix screen which takes a REALLY long time..several minutes.

Then you see a flash of the setup screen before it goes into the Vista startup screen.

Is this normal or am I missing something?

I know so little about RAID 0 I'm too sure what it's doing.

Vista boots up fine and I notice the quicker load times in games so I'm not sure what's going on.

I did notice that in a few how-to's that when you get to the screen during Vista instulation that they go to a screen and load some type of software before installing that I never did do.

Could that have something to do with it?

I don't even have whatever files you need to do that anyway.

Just not real sure about any of this I guess.
