I need the best suggestion for a gaming notebook that can run cod4 gears of war counter strike rainbow six vegas 2 and team fortress 2 max settings. i looked at the Sager NP5796 and wanted to know for suggestions for the specs i should hav for this notebook
-
even the lowest spec on 5796 can run them with max settings.
-
will the highest run crysis on high?
-
I am not sure the highest *anything* can run Crysis on high quite yet. Desktops are only starting to get in that realm now.
-
my rig with crysis: 1680x1050, all high, 2xAA, 30fps stable.
-
what otehr games u play and wat fps u get?
-
1920x1200 crysis no aa, good or bad?
-
I got lot of games, ie Grid, assassin's creed, cod4, test drive unlimited, aoc, FSX, NFS pro street, rainbox 6 vegas 1, bf2142, too much to list. they all do 40fps+ with max settings.
-
i found 1680x1050+2xAA is faster than 1920x1200+0xAA
-
^--^ agreed. Lower res + 2aa is faster.
The 8800GTX can run Crysis on High this way, with around 30fps stable. NOT on Ultra, though. But all those other games will run maxed out just fine on a 5796 with the 8800GTX (or 9800GT as its now called).
BTW - Your new Avatar took me off guard, Nirvana! Didn't know it was you posting for a while there... -

steveninspokane John 14:6 - Only ONE Way!
Does that apply to the np8660 also? -
You forgot to mention OCing
You mean murderer,right
-
ok, now THAT one freaks me out!!
-
Get the best specs you can, it will last you longer.
Unless your willing to upgrade parts in the future, things will be cheaper that way.
Good luck!
