So I just ordered mine through xoticpc and payed for rushed order and 2 day shipping since I'm leaving the country next Friday. I've been looking at what I can do to upgrade the laptop in the future (screen for example) and was wondering about the keyboard.

I *really* liked the keyboard on the asus n51vp (chiclet style I think they call it?). Are there any similar keyboards made that would fit the m860ETU chassis? I've been searching, but there are just so many different keyboard models out there I'm having trouble finding one that would fit (having the dimensions of the current one would help I suppose). The keyboard in the m860TU seems to be different from the one in the m860ETU. If it matters any my model is sold by sager as the p8662.

Thanks for reading. I will continue my search and post here if I find anything, and I hope someone beats me to it.

All Clevo M860TU/ETU (same notebook) keyboards are the same and will fit in the same way.

Other notebook keyboard will probably not work, unless if the connectors are the same.

Any update on this? I have been contemplating replacing the keyboard as well, I'd love to get a backlit keyboard and one that doesn't require so much pressure for the "q" and "p" keys.

You can ONLY use a keyboard made for your specific make/model. You will not be able to replace it with just any keyboard especially one that is made for a different manufacturer.

Xoticpc may even be able to help you locate one.
