    so ya...when i use the bisoncam utility to capture video i can't seem to capture audio via the integrated mic... mic works with speech recognition and whatnot though, isn't muted...capture audio is enabled in bisoncam....any ideas?

    was just using the bisonCam one that came with the drivers, is there some really nice software you'd recommend?

    make sure to select the on-board sound card in the "Select Device" section of the BisonCam software.

    I had the very same problem with a previous Clevo! When it came, I had an option to either install and use Bisoncam as my default camera software, or install and use another one (can't remember the name of that one now). I went with the latter option I think. Recorded sound wouldn't play back on that either. I'll definitely be interested to hear how this subject is resolved.

    are there like...drivers someone could give me to try to reinstall cause i installed the OS from scratch and yeah recording audio doesnt work either..only thing that works is windows speech recognition stuff...

    i apparently had 2 high definition audio devices in my control panel mics....disabled the one that doesn't appear to be active and problem solved...very odd.
