Hi! Does anyone suffers from breaks of 10 sec in left4dead?the game simply stops for 10 seconds, sometimes less, i dont know if its reading data or what's keeping it from running normally. The game does run well, but these stoppings just sucks.....any decent vga drivers?

It might be loading the next set of textures, next part of the map etc etc.
I would try defragging your hard drive first, then downloading Dox's customized drivers.

    Good luck :D

Hmm, I think the major error you got here is that the m860tu does not have a 9600m GS.
Nevertheless, go to nvidia.com for the latest and greatest 9 series notebook drivers.

The M860TU can have either a 9600M GS, 9600M GT, 9800M GTS or 9800M GT depending on how the OEM configures their order. I believe they are avaiable with the 9600M GS from overclockers.co.uk, or atleast used to be although I'm not aware of any other resellers offering this...

Not sure about the problem though :S

Never mind, the problem is a left4dead thing with core2duo cpus, you have to turnoff the multicore option.....

9600m GS or GT, wow, so that means the m860tu has the potential to reach up to 4 hours of battery life on an 8cell unit.

well, you go to the advanced options in the video section and turn off multicore option, also go to task manager, find the left4dead process, right-click, afinity and choose only cpu1.
