I've noticed that the fan of my laptop does not come together with it's plastic back cover when I unscrew it. While the user manual shows that when you remove the back cover the fan is somewhat intact to it. Is this normal?

    I've bought mine from PCMW.

I found this out when I first went in to upgrade my RAM. The service and user manuals must've been printed before the design was finalized, because the fan is attached to the board, and it can't even be taken out unless you remove the heatsink first.
