    With all the pressure being put on by the new AW M17x a JUNE release would be fantastic.
    I know there are many SAGER loyalist out there (including me) but the AW sure does look like it does have all the goods, it potentially will take away a lot of sales from the M980NU if it is released later or is delayed.
    Not sure if I want anything bigger than a 17" laptop ( it gets silly calling anything over 17" mobile in my book) but it should through it's own hat in the ring for the "ALL POWERFUL" title.
    It's going to be interesting to compare the two, but in reality you can't go wrong with either laptop.

    I dunno why people talk about the lack of portability of the 18.4 versus a 17 inch laptop.
    The difference in the now defunct W90 (which was the 17" version) and the W90Vp was that the bezel was larger around the screen. Had the same weight...same size...slightly smaller screen.
    And hell I think the M17x weights 10-12 pounds...so I don't see how it would be a chore lugging around a Clevo but not the AW.

    I'm not talking about how much it weighs just it's size, believe me taking my NP 9262 on the road is great but it can also be a hassle at times, I just can't imagine lugging around something bigger.
    And I know people when they do get this laptop the most they will be moving it is room to room.
    This laptop will truly be a desktop replacement and most likely find a nice spot in our man caves as a final rest stop. :D

    well have you thought about the upgradibility of the m17x ???

    just heard that they are going to debut the new nvidia card soon ...

    means that them m17x will be outdated just like that ...

    them d900f and them m980nu will get a new lease of life on that new card too ...

    That seems to be the case. The Alienware M17x it's competiton, is not shipping till about July 10th, so maybe about the same time.
