This especially goes out to resellers as they should have the means to try at least if they dont already know.
But if anyone here has tried please share your expirience.

My question is if one can use an mSATA SSD in one of the mPCIE slots (specifically the one meant for the TV tuner) in the P150HM?
I tried looking around and looked at the manual but found no definite answers.
I know the mPCIE and mSATA arent the same standard, but in some laptops the mPCIE slots support mSATA drives and im wondering if this is also the case here or not.

P150HM does not work with an mSATA SSD, confirmed twice over months ago in one of the threads. ;)

Ohh sorry couldn't read clearly :p

Yea we can confirm that the extra slot on a HM model is only wired for USB.

    Sorry about the confusion.

It's worth noting anyway that mSATA drives aren't the fastest SSD's out there. I've used the Intel 310 series 80GB SSD and while it's a great drive for the size and convenience, it gets smoked by most full size drives (especially SATA 6 models). If you don't use the optical drive much anyway, using the bay for a full drive replacement is probably the better option in terms of performance.

I know most mSATA SSDs are pretty poor performers, but there are exceptions like the 256GB Samsung P830 which performs pretty much the same as its larger 2,5" counterpart. Its extremely hard to get though and far more expensive.
I was just entertaining all possibilities ;).
