Anyone seen this before? I seem to be missing a bunch of options in my NVidia control panel. Anyone know what's wrong or how to fix this? This is on an np8268 with a 980M running windows 8.1 with 344.48 drivers.

Looks like you're missing Display and Video options. Try reinstalling the drivers?

If that laptop uses nVidia Optimus, display settings will be found under the Intel Graphics Control Panel.

as asked, has this laptop got optimus with intel graphics.
also how are you getting your screen shot. is it from your desktop ie, right clicking and opening control panel.
if so its most prob usint the intel graphics so not using the nvidia card so not all options in your screenshot are highlighted.

Yes, it has optimus. I right-click the desktop and choose nvidia control panel.

Yes there are no video output options in the optimus machines in the nvidia panel since the nvidia chip is not outputting to any displays.

All the relevant options are there.

Right. With the output being controlled by the Intel chip, this (the OP's screenshot) looks normal. :)

You can find options for resolution and multi display setup in the intel control panel :)

Try using one of the display output ports that's directly connected to the dGPU/nvidia.

As stated the intel controls the actual output to the monitors, the nvidia is a slave chip which is simply a number cruncher. The intel chip is in charge of gamma/colour etc.
