I know that only XPS has that ability but..is it really not possible for you to mod the bios to get that "function" ??
I think you guys are skillful enough to do it, so exactly where is the problem to do this?
GTAIV is demanding it![]()
-
i have sent the files to someone who is looking into it.. but as of now no it doesnt work
-
really??
Oh, thanks a lot.. it was this effort that I wanted!!
could I ask you when you sent it to that guy? -
a couple days ago. ill email him tonight and see if he figured anything out yet he is in china so im not sure what time he will get back to me
-
Thank you and thanks to him..
keep us informed on this thread ok? -
I want vcore and lower multi mod.....
-
Why you want a lower multiplier??
Do you think you can go higher than 1066 in FSB??
PS:I haven't understood yet how did you mod the PLL chip... -
any news?
-
nothing yet he said he is waiting on something from someone to see if he can "unlock" the menu's i guess the reason we cant edit them is because there is some kind of protection set up on them now, he said after talking with clevo they did this due to the older 570ru bios' being modded
-
let's hope in zfactor's friend!!
-
any news about unlock process?
-
no. be patient he is waiting on a email or contact back from clevo now. i can only relay messages back and forth to him. i for sure will update as soon as i know one way or the other
-
I reup this thread hoping in any news...
-
Any progress unlocking it?
-
Good question guy! However I don't think there is any progress...
-
This would be great if possible, but looking bleak now
-
Any news zfactor?? I know you are busy in getting a MSi GT725...)
-
Since X9000 seems to be the topsw for us 570RY guys .. what is the fastest X9000 we can get that works right now?
(And where .. I don't want to pop that much $$$ on a cpu from ebay
X9000 3.0 ghz?
jeff -
Mine has been running at 3.2GHz for over a year now.
-
i was able to mod the bios but anything over the factory default caused a bsod as soon as it hit windows. i had a guy who knows bios' inside and out i know also get into it and he said the system didnt like his mods either. i could get the option to show up in the bios but when changed after it posts it was instant blue screen no matter what i did. i will try to find more time to look at it again. i have the other guy (yen) also looking at it one more time i sent him a email but he said he is short on time also right now.
-
Can there be some kind of hardware limitations causing bsods!?
-
Maybe there isnt enough Vcore to boot up with 3.4 GHz. Have you tried a poinmod to increase the Vcore?
-
mmm...I don't think that there isn't enough vcore..maybe is that "1.200V" of the bios??
-
-
Tried overvolt before even to 1.4V....Realy hot, and too stable to stable....
-
-
-
yeah it was very unstable for him as well and he said its not worth doing
-
Hey zfactor...
Is it certain that he pinmodded the cpu for the voltage increase????
I mean my X9000 it's not perfectly stable in Orthos for example because 1.225 are not sufficient for that (instead 1.200v is stable for all) @ 3.2Ghz.
It certainly needs to have an increased voltage. -
My x9000 is perfectly stable in orthos at 3.2GHz at 1.125V and yes, I do mean 1. 125V
-
my cpu need 1.215 to be Rock Solid (24h Orhos) @3.2ghz
with 1.200 it´s stable too, but i got some error with orthos, so it can be a question of voltage...
modified bios to get X9000@18x (3.4ghz) on M570RU??
