I know that only XPS has that ability but..is it really not possible for you to mod the bios to get that "function" ??
I think you guys are skillful enough to do it, so exactly where is the problem to do this?
    GTAIV is demanding it

Why you want a lower multiplier??
Do you think you can go higher than 1066 in FSB??

PS:I haven't understood yet how did you mod the PLL chip...

nothing yet he said he is waiting on something from someone to see if he can "unlock" the menu's i guess the reason we cant edit them is because there is some kind of protection set up on them now, he said after talking with clevo they did this due to the older 570ru bios' being modded

i was able to mod the bios but anything over the factory default caused a bsod as soon as it hit windows. i had a guy who knows bios' inside and out i know also get into it and he said the system didnt like his mods either. i could get the option to show up in the bios but when changed after it posts it was instant blue screen no matter what i did. i will try to find more time to look at it again. i have the other guy (yen) also looking at it one more time i sent him a email but he said he is short on time also right now.

Maybe there isnt enough Vcore to boot up with 3.4 GHz. Have you tried a poinmod to increase the Vcore?

mmm...I don't think that there isn't enough vcore..maybe is that "1.200V" of the bios??

I've tried it, too. It's a bit more difficult. And my DIMM-slot 2 was very unstable. I've tried 3 different types of RAM and changed settings with SPD-Tool, but after max. 5 mins Prime95 large FFT...error.

    Hey zfactor...
Is it certain that he pinmodded the cpu for the voltage increase????
I mean my X9000 it's not perfectly stable in Orthos for example because 1.225 are not sufficient for that (instead 1.200v is stable for all) @ 3.2Ghz.
It certainly needs to have an increased voltage.

My x9000 is perfectly stable in orthos at 3.2GHz at 1.125V and yes, I do mean 1. 125V

my cpu need 1.215 to be Rock Solid (24h Orhos) @3.2ghz
with 1.200 it´s stable too, but i got some error with orthos, so it can be a question of voltage...
