the FAQ states that no one is sure whether the current clevo line supports msata ssd drives.

i'm having a hard time believing no one has tried this yet. do they, or do they not? if they do i'm going clevo for sure! please help!

    thanks.

In the extra mPCIE slot it does NOT support msata drives

Thats the only way you can use a mSATA is to convert it back to regular sata and then put it in a drive bay.

Unless you already have the mSATA drive, I wouldn't bother. They all tend to run slower than the 2.5" SSD's and are considerably more expensive per GB. I'd honestly recommend sticking with a regular sized SSD for the 2.5" bay unless you've already got an mSATA or that extra few ounces of weight are a serious concern.

yeah, i already have one. had it in my w520 before i had to return it due to random shutdowns.

seems like there are a few converters kicking around on the internet for ~$20.
