    hi. i have a sager 5791 and it the fn key just stopped working yesterday. i'm not sure why though.

    is there a way to adjust the brightness without the fn key? also possible reasons why the fn key stopped working? thanks.

    Look in the vista mobility center. Press start and type mobility in the search box to find it.


    This is assuming your running Vista.

    There is usually a software solution to adjusting brightness, whether it's through your video card's driver/settings under control panel (or equivalent under whatever OS you're using).
