well if its bright it means its not dead its just stuck...

Colored pixels = stuck (small chance they can be fixed)..
Black Pixels = dead (no chance to fix) afaik.

    try lightly massaging it..
or try a tool called like http://www.jscreenfix.com/

    see if that fixes it.

Glad I didn't pay too much for dead pixel protection if this site is able to work. :D

I believe the OP had said that it was "very bright" which would, I believe, indicate a non-dead pixel, no?

"The graphic will try to massage the dead pixel back alive again by getting it to change rapidly."

Seems to me the site is referring to a pixel that is actually off... ie. trying to get it back up and lit. If they were talking about a stuck pixel I don't think they would phrase the description in the way they did.

yea "dead" pixels you cant get get back those are the off pixels black pixels

stuck pixels are still working just usually only 1 of the 3 colors is working (R G B) and u can sometimes "massage" the other 2 colors back to life.

hot pixels are white ie. always on all 3 colors are always on I dont know much more about hot pixels.
