I've set the nVidia "Color Settings" panel (brightness, gamma, etc) to my prefs, but when I boot up the laptop, it doesn't apply them automatically. The system seems starts at default settings, and I have to go into the nVidia Control Panel again - all my settings are remembered, but I have to just click on one of the sliders and only then the settings are applied.

Is there some boot-up process I've gotten rid of that is in charge of applying these settings at startup?
