No I don't think so...
On Nvidia's twitter page they have an announcement that says:
"ARE YOU READY? Check back here on Monday morning at 9am PST for a major announcement!"
Is this just for desktops? Will it mean that the GTX 480 and 470 are finally here, March is going to be an interesting month!

Nice find! Yep, the heat is building up. This March is gonna be very interesting, even though we can guess most of the shadow horses, still, some remaining in the dark...
-
I dream of mobile fermi.
-
I'll take anything Nvidia that includes DX11. A Fermi derivative would be wonderful, but I've not got problems with them grafting DX11 onto a 3xxM series and giving me DX11 that way either.
I suspect that Monday is only for desktops however. I hope I'm wrong, but... -
Usually notebooks are 6-8 months behind desktops in terms of GPU development, so tomorrow's announcement (which might only be an announcement announcing Fermi's new release date)...
-
Fermi desktop video cards will become available 1-2 weeks after CeBIT.
-
The wait is almost over! The world's fastest PC graphics gaming technology will be unveiled at PAX 2010. Visit: www.nvidia.com/paxeast.

Back to sleep then... -

Oh well at least the dropped the name of the latest cards in the the Dedication paragraph at the bottom.
The ChrisRay Special Edition PC features dual GeForce GTX 480 GPUs in SLI (of course!), and we’re going to raffle it off at PAX. -
Megacharge Custom User Title
Yep that was nothing short of pathetic, an announcement for an announcement. I guess a lot of people will be getting themselves some nicely priced ATI's once those Fermi chips start shipping.

There you go:

Official lunch of Fermi is March the 26th. -
or just the desktop cards ???
how soon will we expect the mobile version to appear on the market ???
-
-
yes cheaper graphics cards.
-
Looks like I'll be budgeting for an ATI card..
-
Next year is too long a wait,grrrrr...

OK, as long as this mythical 380GTX
(or whatever it's gonna be called) is a little more than a higher clocked 285M.Don't get me wrong the 285M is a great GFX card.(wish I had one) but it's not a great leap from a 280M.
Don't know if I care about DX11 yet, it would be great if the next offering from Nvidia had it but I wouldn't be too disappointed if it didn't. -
Yes, babyhemi is correct, this summer Nvidia will release the 380M, it will be on 40nm and with DX 10.1. I was talking about Fermi, which is the true next step in graphics technology.
-
OK sounds good, was going to get a new latop this summer so timing would be great.I just hope it does not disappoint.
It's going to be a W860CU almost 100% certain now it's deciding between ATI and Nvidia.
nVidia is feeling the heat to release...just for desktops?
