Get plenty of sleep the night prior to UPS delivering your machine. Trust me, I can guarantee you are not going to be getting any sleep the day you receive your laptop.

When you order your memory from Newegg, you may want to pick up a tube or thermal paste to apply on your CPU and GPU. MX-2 is a crowd favorite.

    Looks good to me.

Yes, AS5 will do. RJTech will most likely put too much paste on the GPU just like they did with my 9800M GTX and GTX 280M.

No. It's not hard. Only one panel needs to removed to gain access to the CPU and GPU.

Quadro cards are primarily used in the professional and business fields. Quadro cards are built for precision while GeForce cards are built for speed. Quadro cards are more expensive because it can crunch OpenGL and CUDA applications much faster than GeForce cards, and lot of money is needed for Nvidia to R&D the software and drivers to make that possible.

I believe kaltmond has an FX 3700M. If you can ask him for the FX 3700M BIOS, you can flash your GTX 280M to a FX 3700M interchangeably as they are both the same card, which would give you great flexibility for both games and pro apps.

just one more thing do you think the standard 1 year parts and labor warranty from rjtech is enough? does clevo have a warranty? or should i put some more money in and get a longer one? can i pay for a longer warranty in a month or so if i decide to do so or at the end of this one?

Oh well, that's unfortunate. The GTX 280M can still do everything the FX 3700M can do.

For my use, one year of warranty is good enough. I don't know about the third party warranty that RJTech adds on in their larger warranty packages, so I'm not sure. You probably live in Diamond Bar or Orange County anyway, so the drive is fairly short to RJTech if you want them to take a look at your laptop whether you are within or outside warranty. You will need to ask RJTech if you can purchase a warranty extension if you choose to do so after you buy your laptop.

Almost all notebook hard drives nowadays are 9.5mm. The 500GB 7200.4 you are looking at on Newegg will fit in your M570TU. It is also selling for a good price too.

You would have been interested in my old 500GB 7200.4. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=401257

The guy I sold it too missed the mail man on Wednesday so the hard drive is currently sitting at the post office. He better pick it up soon so I can close that thread already, haha.
