so there are a few games that changing brightness/ gamma/ contrast doesn't work. on other of my laptop it works and couldn't really figure out why so i thought maybe a workaround (something like game profile would do the trick).

i found this on nvidia site " http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answ...do-i-customize-optimus-profiles-and-settings?"

creating specific game profile however there are no options to adjust gamma/ brightness or contrast, i'd have to go to nvidia control panel -> display -> adjust desktop color settings. this changes global settings and having to revert it each time game starts or ends is quite inefficient.

anyone know a way to have these auto changed to a set brightness/contrast per game profile?

Have you tried deep diving using nvidia inspector on the profiles? However the options may simply not apply from application to application.

i thought nvidia inspector changes clock frequency, voltage etc but not brightness/gamma/contrast. i have used nvinspector to set p8 state for battery saving but never display adjustment related.

If you click the icon next to the driver version I believe that's a list of everything that applies in the per game profiles.
