    Right so i have been trying to get access to the internet though my brothers wireless router both using thw wireless and the ethernet cable neither have worked, and i cant figure out why, i need to gain access to the internet so i can activate my vista ultimate, i looked under device manager and found something called the "network controller" does not have a driver, where can i get one for it (vista ultimate 32bit, Sager 9262) and would getting the driver for it allow me to gain access to the internet, if not how can i get access to it? no wireless networks appear and i know i have the wireless on. it was easy doing it with my old psp why is it so hard doing it with the laptop.

    great, it would take over 7hours to download @ about 2kbps will this driver be on the CD that came with the laptop?

    If you're sure you've already downloaded and installed it once, make sure you un-install any drivers first before you try to install this one; otherwise, it may not do anything at all.

    im sure ive installed that one, but it says that no driver is installed when i look on the network controller, so i dont know.

    right okay thanx. i guess its not that important if im able to activate vista over the phone, but ill still get it ready for when i go to uni.

    will getting this driver allow me to access my brothers wireless router? or is there something else i need to do as well, it worked just fine while i had XP so im hoping its just this driver i need. also will it allow to to connect to the router with a ethernet cable and use the internet?

    right thanx for the help you guys, but i found a driver on the Driver CD that i hadnt installed, it was amoung the optional downloads and that fixed it, so i hope to activate vista tomorrow when i go down my brothers :D
