    new Hdd from sager w/o vista on it ?? HELP

    ok im on a different computer but i need help sager sent me a new Hdd because the old one was defective. They said that they would pre install all the drivers and windows vista 64 bit. i gget hthe new Hdd put it in and it completely blank its boots to a black screen and says there is no os. so restart computer and put in recovery disc to install vista. i get to the install screen and it gives me 2 options one is upgrade and 2 is custom and then under that its says upgrade is disabled u have to do it from within windows. so i click on custom and each time i do that it tells me to put in the drivers? someone help plz im reallly starting to get annoyed with sager.1st i have to give them $200 to send my new hdd although its still under warrenty then i get the thing 2 days ;late and now i have this problem.

    Sounds like you got pawned an upgrade version of Vista. Call Sager up and demand both an HDD with the OS on it, and a legit copy of Vista.

    when i called them a bit ago i got a anwsering machine that said to leave a message aftrer the beep and then a voice said someething like function not working and it hung up. this is a long time toi wait fora company to screw me over.
