Yay, another Witcher 2 performance boost
. Didn't realize the last beta set actually decreased it... might explain a bit.
-
great.....waiting for traditional chinese version

EDIT: I took a closer look at the driver and noticed these supported Clevo cards:
Code:DEV_061D&SUBSYS_51021558 "NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M" DEV_0DD1&SUBSYS_51021558 "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M" DEV_0E31&SUBSYS_51021558 "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 485M" DEV_0DED&SUBSYS_25001558 "NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M" DEV_0DF4&SUBSYS_51401558 "NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M" DEV_0DCE&SUBSYS_15001558 "NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M"
EDIT 2: GTX 560M support INF HERE -
The beta version was horrible for me. Artifacting. I will wait for next drivers.
-
i havent tested in games yet, but i did a run of encoding in premiere pro and adobe media encoder. of the 8 encodes i did in different settings (same file), 2 exhibited pixellation. it could probably be due to my settings, but most probably not since ive used such settings with no pixellation before.
will still investigate further.
anyone care to report about game quality and performance? -
Has anyone tried this???
-
Yes check the thread in the Gaming section (it is not in one of these specific company threads).
-
-
-
-
Wait so the 560m'ers cant just download it how it is??
-
At first I thought just the Clevo vendor branded card was not there which would be completely normal but apparently no GTX 560M is in the default inf's.
Those who want to verify it by all means, the card is: NVIDIA_DEV.1251.01 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M" -

The Sager/Clevo GT 555M was not supported in the first 275.27 beta release, but the file was updated recently to add those products to the list. I was able to install that driver without the need for a modified .inf.
Try downloading the 275.33s again today, and I'd be willing to bet the support is there. -
560 has been added to the list NVIDIA DRIVERS 275.33 WHQL
-
-
I just tried it again, still doesn't work. So obviously it was not actually added...
-
I'd expect 560M official support by the next Verde rev. -
I tried these drivers and they completely screwed up the visuals in Crysis 2's rainy levels, making the whole scene filled with blank colors where the fog effects should be. I rolled back the drivers and await a new one that doesn't screw up Crysis 2's rain scenes.
-
dont say its going to be like the wait for the 485's as well. -
Anybody still got a 280m and can compare this 275.33 to the beta 275.27? Any changes?
-
Seriously? Nobody? Not even a reply after that last one? O_O
-
im sure theyre still around but maybe havent look into this thread yet. maybe you can get more luck if you started a thread specifically for 280m's.
i have a friend who bought my old 8690 with a 280m and he is on the new driver and is happy with bc2 results -
this driver crashes da2 fyi

Ah, thanks Travelbug, I was wondering. The new drivers nVidia release lately don't give much difference for my old 280m; no real performance gains or anything, though some things just feel smoother in general. I've been getting really frequent, odd GPU driver crashes lately. I think I'll make a thread about it.
-
I'm not sure if anyone saw this but from the Nvida's Driver Download (under Beta and Archived section) I see two versions of 275.33
One is 275.33 WHQL and the other is 275.33 WHQL and the Nvidia recommended icon.
Anyone tried this and got it to work on their 560M? or was this old news?
Thanks, -
Can you try it for us? I have already unsucessfully downloaded that one 4 times lol.
-
I would have tried it myself if I had it though -
for the 560m i believe atmosk has found the solution to that. although it is listed as a supported card, the 560m's id's are not included in the .inf and you have to add them manually. i think he has prepared a modified .inf for the 560m clevo usrs in his thread:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/564375-atmosks-nvidia-clevo-support-modded-infs.html
generally i think this driver improves on almost all games (except da2) for most modern cards.
i also use the driver for ae and ppro cs 5 and they are stable and seem to give me better performance.
my friends with a 460m, 285m, and 280m are also reporting good stability and some increased game smoothness. although the one with the 280m said that it still crashes tf2, however this was present even in the older nvidia drivers.
@decayedmatter
one of my friends have crysis 2, what part of the game is that abberation seen? or is it whenever you see water? -
I think I gave Kingpinzero a headache when he helped me get the 275.33 on my 560m. Read my thread. If I was able to do it, then anyone can.

Yeah, but that thread didn't begin with inf's it ended with it.. And I obviously had no idea how to do it, now I know and I am able to use your thread.
-

I saw it, and I read the entire post trust me, I saw the new inf was 560m halfway through in a quote. I just didn't understand how to do it because I do not know that much about drivers...
