new sager/clevo p3970em owner. couple questions?

hello i just bought my first sager machine. laptop runs great, quite the little powerhouse. i think i got a pretty good deal on it.

i7 3610qm
680m gtx sli
60 gb intel 520 ssd
500 gb hdd
8gb ram
warranty until 10-3-13

1200$

ran 3dmark11 at stock clocks and got p9973. temps idle <35 degrees. processor idles at <45 degrees.

questions?

1. i have a 256gb samsung 840 pro i am about to put in it. think im gonna get another and raid 0 them. is there a website where i can buy a caddy to put my storage drive in the optical bay?
2. is it possible to add a 3d screen to this thing. i know on my alienware there are two lcd sockets on motherboard. one for 3d 120hz screen and one for 60hz screen. is the motherboard on the clevos made like that or would it require a whole new motherboard.
3. there are two cables not hooked to anything right next to the empty ram slots. what are they for?
4. got another empty slot next to empty ram slots. is this msata?
5. i plan on using the killer 1103 from my alienware. looks like there is a 3rd antenna in a red sleeve next to the wireless card. is this what that is?
6. would also like to get a non branded back panel. anyone know where i might get one?

im sure ill have other questions. thanks in advance for the help.

 

I can answer a few.

1, there should be room for two harddrives already in the hdd bay, i run raid 0 on two samsung 830 256gb, i have found that i wait for the software to run, but not to load most of the time.

4. yes, but it is only a sata 2 port, the hard drive bay´s and DVD drive slot are all sata3.

5. yes.

 

sorry what? 1200 bucks for THAT machine is what u call a "petty good deal"? lol

i thought these chipsets could only support two sata 3 ports?

bought it from a guy i work with. one of those just got out of military, got money burning a hole in my pocket, impulse purchases. now i need to sell it for what i can get cause i dont use it and like my xbox more kind of deals. when he priced it i didnt even try to negotiate him lower i just said ok ill buy it. at first i was gonna just jack a 680m out of it and put in my alienware and resell and hopefully get all my money back, but after playing with it i decided to keep it cause its a monster. gotta sell the alienware now. also overnighted another 256gb 840 pro to match the one i got under the tree. christmas cant get here soon enough now.

 

2. yes, find out the name of the panel and it should be possible, several resellers sell a 3d 120hz version for the screen (due to having a NVIDIA GPU which you obviously have)

5. yes it is. unless something magical has happened and it's not

6. ask a reseller if they are willing to sell you a piece
