    i'm pretty much going to get this laptop and maybe by spring or summer i might replace the video card to a 1 gig gtx.

    can you guys and gals point me into the right direction to bookmark some good venders that sell laptop video cards.

    i just got this same comp and its the best investment ive made yet.

    I used to build all my desktops for gaming and such, but now that laptops are becoming pretty competitive i decided to try one out. Needless to say ive sold my desktop and use only this laptop now.

    I did exactly the same thing...Bought the M570RU in september 07, intending on building a gaming desktop in a few months. I traded it in for an M570RUU in January 08 (X9000 + 8800M GTX) and never did build that desktop...

    I trashed desktops long time ago tbh :) At the time I moved out, I didn't really have the space for a desktop and shortly after I invested in a FS Xi1546 with a ATi mobility x1800, which did well until it decided to die on me, then I got the M570RU-U I got now and I doubt Ill ever get back to desktops :)
