    Hello! I'm considering to buy a sager for when i go to college in the fall.

    I customized the following in both models, the 1300+ force and 1100+ supra.

    The specs are..

    15.4" WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) LCD
    GeForce 8600 GT w/512MB
    Intel® Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0GHz
    160GB SATA/150 Hard Drive at 5,400 RPM
    3-Year Parts & Labor
    Vista Premium
    ***1GB RAM for Supra AND 2GB RAM for Force***

    Force costs 1608.00$ AND Supra costs 1548.00$

    Im sure i can get a 1gb ram stick from online for about 20$.. So is the supra a better buy???

    Also if i was to order the end of july, would i get it before September?

    I can't tell you which one is a better buy, but the sooner you order the better. Right now there has been a backup on the shipping for these laptops. People who have ordered in May/early June still haven't received it. However if you're willing to wait and order this week I think you should get it before September.

    Yeah I ordered back on the 6th of June and I'm still waiting. They are really backed up right now, so expect a wait. Not sure how long though.

    September is way too long, I ordered mine last sunday. and I am getting it on the 2nd shipment, when is that btw?

    no idea. but i got a date for me. ordered the 21st and said shipping in 2-3 weeks when they receive them.

    Based on everything we have been told you shouldn't need to worry at all about getting it before September. There wont always be a backlog, right now for all intents and purposes we are all in pre-order yet since so few made it to the US. At some point (hopefully) soon they will ship and you can see a 3-4 day turnaround when ordering.

    oh I called xoticpc.com and asked them and they said it'd be 2-4 weeks before they'd ship out...i'm not sure if they were referring to the first shipment or me lol.

    Well everytime I've emailed Justin, I've gotten the standard your order will ship in the next 2 weeks. I think the problem is that even they don't have enough info to give us a concrete date. But both Justin and Donald seem pretty positive that all pre-orders will be shipped by the beginning of August. I have my fingers crossed. :D

    I actually orderd the Xotic Force rather than the Sager back on June 6th. Its been a while heh.
