Hi, I just got my np2092 yesterday. I am a little worried because using HWMonitor, the GPU run about 70-75 when im just surfing the web. I think it might be because right now plugged in with the battery taken out, and Vista isn't undervolting/underclocking it even though im in power saver mode.
If this is the case, should I leave the battery and trade battery life for GPU life?

    Thanks for the help?

it's normal. if you'll notice when playing demanding games you're highest temp will be about about 78-80* without any external cooling. games that require less of your gpu, you might notice temps lower than idle. the fan ramps up when you start playing games, so i wouldn't worry about it. i do recommend a notebook cooler so you can your temps in @ least the 60's. in my case, my idle is 52* +- 2* but i built my own laptop cooler.

Check out my guide for the UNDERVOLTING section.
Also ,temps are ok as long as GPU stays under 85C, and CPU under 80C.

    Use HWMonitor ...

    70-75 sounds a bit high for a 8600 i think in that?

    No it's not.It's perfectly safe.
G1S users have it up to 90 sometimes.

i thought the same thing, but it seems it's normal for the 2092. the fan does it job well when you start playing games.
