did you open the Volume Control and made sure the mic volume is increased/enabled correctly?

    i did...

its somewhat fixed for me... but not in the way i'd like

i turned up the boost by 10%, i'd rather find a resolution w/o using boost

turn on voice loopback in CS with the console. I think it was voice_loopback 1? i don't remember. Doing this will allow you to hear yourself talk so you can hear how loud you are talking. You can also do the microphone boost in the CS settings. I think there was a auto detect button, just click it and talk normally and it'll adjust.

i've messed with the realtek stuff, but it seems i cant get it right... it feels like windows and realtek are in conflict.

i'll try the loopback, but cs boost = crap sound (i sound like a robot)
