    Hello,

About 4 months back I made a post regarding my video card overheating and eventually dying completely in my np5793:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/458243-np5793-8800m-freezes-during-gaming-2.html

I've come into some funds and am looking to replace the video card and keyboard in it. I would like to have the option of sending the card back should something go wrong with it/my laptop. I live in Victoria, BC, Canada. I'm looking to spend around 650$ on keyboard +replacement gpu.

I've looked at Clevo 571tu Upgrade Guide.

I've also looked at R&J Technology, Clevo Barebone Notebook kits, Laptop and desktop system builder.

What do you recommend I buy, and from where? Thank you

Ya mine fried as well. I wonder, is this common with the 8800M GTX? Is it an issue with no cleaning or is it frying despite cleaning out the fans, sink, everything?

Anyone else having heat issues with 8800M GTX?

if you look into my older thread smood, several people were mentioning that the 8800m series had a reputation for overheating/defective chips.
